Resumes are being reviewed. Hackley School, a K-12 single-campus independent school in Tarrytown, NY, seeks an experienced admissions and enrollment professional to be the Director of Enrollment Management, effective July 1, 2020.

The Director of Enrollment Management is a unique and exciting opportunity for a motivated, energetic admissions professional to collaborate to bring the recently adopted strategic vision to life. Reporting to the Head of School and serving as a strategic thought partner, the Director of Enrollment Management at Hackley School is a member of Hackley’s Leadership Team, while also working closely with the Board of Trustees. The Director ensures that the school’s short- and long-term enrollment management goals are met and is charged with leading an office that includes admission officers and staff in a way that supports these efforts.

As part of the School’s recruitment and enrollment of students, the Director oversees all admission processes and records; the administration of the admission and financial aid budgets; admission events, travel, and constituent volunteer efforts; and all recruitment, enrollment, and matriculation efforts, up to welcoming new families to school in the fall. Working closely with the School’s Communication Office, the Director of Enrollment Management attends to the school’s public presence, including print, social media, and digital platforms, especially the school’s website.

Director of Financial Aid and Affordability

Crossroads School for Arts & Sciences (CA)

THIS POSITION IS NOW FILLED. Crossroads School, located in the beach city of Santa Monica, CA, is an independent, K-12, co-educational school of nearly 1,200 students. Crossroads is seeking a Director of Financial Aid and Affordability to join the School’s enrollment management team.  Crossroads has been transitioning to a strategic enrollment management model for four years and the Director of Financial Aid (DFA) and Affordability reports to the Director of Enrollment Management (DEM).   

The Director of Financial Aid works closely with the DEM administering the tuition reduction fund (TRF) of $9M and has a recipient pool of 300 students, which represents 25% of student body. The Director of Financial Aid works in partnership with the business office and is a part of a team of ten Admission and Enrollment Management professionals on two campuses.

Director of Enrollment Management

The Madeira School (VA)

THIS POSITION IS NOW FILLED. The Madeira School is a private, independent boarding and day school for girls in grades 9-12, located on a beautiful 376-acre campus in McLean, Virginia, just 12 miles from Washington, DC. Founded in 1906, and with a long legacy of iconic alumnae. The Director of Enrollment Management is responsible for recruiting, selecting, and enrolling a diverse class of high-quality students, and administering a financial aid budget of $3.45 million. The Director is responsible for developing marketing and strategic plans that will position Madeira as the all-girls, college preparatory boarding and day school of choice for prospective girls and their families.

Reporting to the Head of School, the Director oversees the admissions team of 6, is a member of the school’s senior administrative team and works cooperatively with the senior leadership, Board, faculty, and staff in setting direction and policy to ensure that student success.

Director of Enrollment Management

St. Timothy’s School (MD)

THIS POSITION IS NOW FILLED. St Timothy’s School, located 13 miles from Baltimore, is seeking a Director of Enrollment Management.  Founded in 1882, St. Timothy’s is a college-preparatory boarding and day school for girls in grades 9-12.  St. Timothy’s offers the world-renowned International Baccalaureate Diploma Program.  The Director of Enrollment Management is responsible for the oversight of student recruitment, financial aid, institutional research, re-enrollment efforts, and manages the Admission Office’s 3 staff members. Reporting to the Head of School, the Director of Enrollment Management at the St. Timothy’s School is a member of the Senior Staff and works closely with the Board of Trustees.
